Morgan Weaver is a PhD student at Georgia Tech. He completed his undergraduate and master’s in Mechanical Engineering at LeTourneau University in Longview, TX. In between his two degrees at LeTourneau he spent one year working for American Pulverizer Company in St. Louis, MO. He is passionate about the design process, and helping people find more effective solutions for problems in everyday life. His research interests are Design Theory and Engineering Education.
Morgan played NCAA Division III Tennis at his undergraduate university and still enjoys playing recreationally. He enjoys reading non-fiction, and his favorite book is Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. Currently, he is working on understanding the educational value of university makerspaces and improving aspects of the group idea generation process. After graduating, Morgan hopes to continue his research as academic faculty.
