Michael Glier is a PhD student in the Mechanical Engineering department at Texas A&M. He completed his BS and MS at Texas A&M in 2009 and 2011, respectively. As a Master’s student, Michael worked under Dr. Gerald Morrison conducting an experimental analysis of a progressing cavity pump operating at very high gas-volume-fraction conditions. He is currently researching effective ways to teach methods for bioinspired design and applications of bioinspired design to defensive systems. Michael is co-advised by Dr. Julie Linsey and Dr. Dan McAdams.
